Dr. Ing. Mizpah Ama Dziedzorm Asaase
Dr. Ing. Mizpah Ama Dziedzorm Asaase is a seasoned academician currently serving as a senior lecturer at the Department of Chemical Engineering within Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors (BSc. Hons) and completed her Doctorate in Chemical Engineering in 2003 and 2014, respectively, from KNUST.

Dr. Asaase’s academic journey showcases her exceptional performance and dedication to her field. She commenced her career as a Teaching Assistant at KNUST following her undergraduate studies, progressing to the role of a demonstrator while pursuing her PhD. In these capacities, she actively contributed to the teaching process, provided support to lecturers, and managed laboratory activities.

After obtaining her doctoral degree, Dr. Asaase expanded her experience by working as a part-time lecturer at the University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies in Bunso. However, her passion for teaching and research led her back to KNUST in March 2015, where she assumed the role of a lecturer. Over the years, she has delivered impactful lectures, mentored numerous students, and significantly contributed to the academic community.

Dr. Asaase’s commitment to excellence and leadership qualities are evident in her roles as the College of Engineering examination officer. Her multifaceted experience and expertise make her a valuable asset to Pemcoa Foundation, where she provides strategic guidance and contributes significantly to the organization’s mission and vision.

Dr. Asaase is a distinguished fellow at Africa Hall, KNUST, where she maintains an active presence. Her engagement extends beyond the hall, as she has played integral roles in multiple committees within the College of Engineering and the university at large. Furthermore, Dr. Asaase holds memberships in esteemed professional organizations such as the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE), Ghana Science Association (GSA), and the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) headquartered in Austria.
